David Hart is the CEO of Dematec Automation, an engineering organisation that provides solutions to organisations in the water, defence, and manufacturing industries. He studied Electrical Engineering before commencing his career with a special purpose machine builder for the manufacturing industry.

David has since spent twenty years in automation companies in roles progressing from system engineering and design, through to project management, and most recently in business management.

David is intimately aware of the challenges that SME’s face in the changing economic and technological landscape, having spent his entire career both working in SME’s and delivering projects and services to SME’s.
